Taoxichuan Gallery

Taoxichuan Gallery is now in soft opening from September 6. Wholly owned by Jingdezhen Towyi Cultural Development Co., Ltd. and exclusively co-operated by Global ACE, the gallery focuses on contemporary craftsmanship and is dedicated to promoting the international development, market collection, and value dissemination of handmade art.

Rooted in the profound heritage of the “Millennial Porcelain Capital,” the gallery serves as a vital new window for dialogue between Jingdezhen and the world. With a long-term curatorial vision and cross-cultural exchanges, Taoxichuan Gallery actively connects with leading organizations, galleries and artists worldwide, promoting diverse expressions of craftsmanship in the contemporary context and contributing to Jingdezhen’s evolution into the World Craft Center.

In the inaugural exhibition The Power of Nature, we have collaborated with 8 leading organisations and galleries from around the world to carefully select 24 renowned artists from 10 countries, showcasing 45 representative works or series. This landmark international exhibition highlights the rich diversity of contemporary craft worldwide and marks a new beginning for Taoxichuan Gallery as a central hub in the global creative network.

The Power of Nature

6 September 2025 – 3 March 2026

2C-1, Kiln & Crafts, Intersection of Chaoyang Rd. and Taoxichuan Rd.,

Jingdezhen City, Jiangxi Province, China

The significance of nature’s force in human art lies not only in its material generosity but also in its spiritual resonance. As Chinese philosophy reminds us, the unity of heaven and humanity is not an abstract notion, but a way of living and creating. Reverence for nature, attunement to the seasons, and responsiveness to materials have long guided artisans in their practice. At a time of accelerating technologies and ecological tension, to look back to nature and listen to the whispers of the earth is to rediscover the path by which we define both the contemporary and the future.
