Joey Adam

Joey Adam, born “Joëlle” in 1972 in Pétange, Luxembourg, is an unconventional and versatile artist with a strong focus on recycling. After obtaining a graphic design diploma in 1992, she moved to Italy to study fashion in Florence, specialising in stage costumes, historical replicas, and accessory making. As an independent artist for over ten years, she continues to explore a wide range of techniques including oil and acrylic painting, engraving, lino printing, ceramics, and thermoplastic and polymer sculpture.

Since 2009, she has been a lecturer for the association Art à l’école, teaching art, various techniques, and ceramics to primary school children in several municipalities. She is also active in the cabaret and theatre world, working on stage costume and accessory design. In parallel, she is involved in fantasy, cosplay, and steampunk, embodying the character “Lady Joey,” a time traveller and dragon breeder.
