7th Edition of Révélations — the International Biennale of Crafts and Creation

From May 21 to 25, 2025, the 7th edition of Révélations — the International Biennale of Crafts and Creation — was held at the Grand Palais in Paris, bringing together 550 creators from 35 countries and attracting significant attention from professionals, collectors, and craft enthusiasts.


REVELATIONS CHINA, a registered trademark of Ateliers d'Art de France and co-organized by Global ACE, presented seven outstanding Chinese artists and brands during the Biennale. This special presentation not only continued to deepen the international dialogue initiated by Révélations but also highlighted the unique position of Chinese contemporary craftsmanship within the global artistic landscape.

REVELATIONS CHINA 2024 ​

International Fine Craft & Creation Biennial 

National Agricultural Exhibition Centre - Beijing, China

September 19-23, 2024 

As a landmark initiative launched and co-organized by Global ACE and Ateliers d'Art de France, REVELATIONS CHINA marks the first international event in China dedicated to contemporary craftsmanship. Global ACE brought the vision of Révélations  to China, creating a dynamic platform for cultural exchange and trade, connecting global craftsmanship with China’s thriving creative industries and offering a space for contemporary, diverse, and professional dialogues.  

Being included in the framework of Croisements 60, the first REVELATIONS CHINA is one of the 8 major projects of China-France Year of Culture and Tourism. 

The salon had 126 participating artists and over 500 artworks from 16 countries including China, France, UAE, Spain, Switzerland, Canada, Morocco, covering various materials such as bamboo, ceramics, lacquer, metal and fiber. 

Craft Economists & Academics 50 Forum 

Wenzhou, November 2024 

The Craft Economists & Academics 50 Forum Think Tank Summit 2024, jointly organized by the China National Arts and Crafts Society, the Wenzhou Municipal People's Government, and other institutions, took place in Wenzhou in November 2024.

During this significant event, Global ACE facilitated the signing of the Accord-Cadre de Cooperation pour les Echanges dans les Métiers d'Art entre la Chine et la France between the China National Arts and Crafts Society and Ateliers d'Art de France, a framework agreement aimed at fostering collaboration in the field of arts and crafts between China and France, and was instrumental in drafting the agreement.

This agreement sets the stage for both organizations to explore new projects and innovative forms of cooperation in the craft industry. The goal is to create an international platform that not only has commercial value but also cultural depth, promoting cross-cultural dialogue and collaboration in the world of handicrafts. 

Cultural Creation of The Palace Museum Overseas Tour : Paris Cultural Salon 

Hôtel Salomon de Rothschild - Paris, France, August 2024 

In collaboration with "China House" and the Cultural and Creative Industries Department of the Palace Museum, Global ACE specially curated the "Cultural Creation of The Palace Museum Overseas Tour: Paris Cultural Salon" in August 2024 at the Paris China House. 

This initiative included an exhibition of court-style filigree inlaid gold artifacts, highlighting innovative interpretations of Chinese cultural heritage in a contemporary context while fostering cross-disciplinary exchanges and cultural dialogue. Held at the Hôtel Salomon de Rothschild, the event reflected the deep cultural bonds between China and France and celebrated the promising future of their collaborative relationship. 

Salon International du Patrimoine Culturel Nanjing Exhibition: Tisser Le Monde Ensemble  

Salles du Carrousel, Louvre - Paris, France, 2024

As part of the 30th Salon International du Patrimoine Culturel, the Nanjing exhibition ‘Tisser le Monde Ensemble’ was showcased  in Salles du Carrousel, Louvre in Paris. The exhibition focused on Nanjing’s rich cultural heritage, with a special emphasis on Yunjin (Cloud Brocade) — a textile renowned for its 1,600-year history and distinctive cloud-like patterns. This modern reinterpretation of a traditional craft highlights the seamless fusion of ancient techniques and contemporary design, underscoring Nanjing’s significant contributions to the preservation and innovation of cultural heritage. 

Global ACE Group, commissioned by the Nanjing Municipal Publicity Department, executed the exhibition in Paris, overseeing its seamless implementation from concept to completion. The four-day salon brought together exhibitors and experts in the fields of heritage promotion, restoration, and conservation, furthering global dialogue on the preservation and future of cultural legacies. 

« Napoleon, The Disappeared Palaces »  

Beijing & Shanghai & Wuxi, 2024

As part of the 60th anniversary celebrations of diplomatic relations between China and France, the exhibition Napoleon, The Disappeared Palaces was presented in 2024, with Global ACE overseeing communication, coordination, and project management. The exhibition featured a distinguished collection of 81 pieces from the Napoleonic era, sourced from the Mobilier National and the Napoleon Foundation. It included furniture, tapestries, carpets, decorative objects, and paintings from three of Napoleon's iconic palaces—Tuileries Palace, Saint-Cloud Palace, and the Château de Maisons.

The exhibition provided an immersive exploration of Napoleon's era, offering a unique opportunity to appreciate the international exchange of artistic and cultural traditions through the craftsmanship embedded in these artifacts.

Reviving Craft - Intangible Cultural Heritage of China and Contemporary Design  

Musée des Arts Décoratifs - Paris, France, July 2024

Reviving Craft – Intangible Cultural Heritage of China and Contemporary Design was held in July 2024 at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, showcasing over 100 works from more than 40 exceptional artists, designers, and institutions from China and abroad, with Global ACE managing communication, coordination, and project execution throughout the project. Drawing inspiration from the five elements—gold, wood, water, fire, and earth—the exhibition explored the interactions and transformations of natural forces through traditional crafts such as filigree inlay, woodwork, bamboo weaving, ceramics, textile embroidery, and more.

This exhibition not only highlighted the achievements of China's intangible cultural heritage but also illuminated the dynamic fusion of ancient craftsmanship and contemporary design, offering global visitors a glimpse into the vitality of Chinese heritage, the creativity of Chinese designers, and the beauty of traditional Chinese culture.
